Prophets of God advised Paul not to extend his evangelistic campaign to Jerusalem. They warned he would be persecuted and may die in the process. However, Paul insisted he would go to Jerusalem to fulfill his ministry. Paul responded, “What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” So when he would not be persuaded, we (fellow brethren) ceased, saying, “The will of the Lord be done” (Acts 21:13-14).

 

Lesson:

God seeks dedicated people who will fearlessly preach his gospel in this end time. People who God has called to serve in one capacity or other for the sake of promoting his kingdom should do so diligently. They should summon courage to step out of their comfort zones and adequately carry out their assignments! God has invested much grace on his servants, and they cannot…
