Bible requires Christians to restore their fellow believers who have backslided from faith. The scriptures emphasize the need for restoration as written, “Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:1-2).
God is heartbroken whenever a Christian falls from grace. He wants other believers who are in faith to restore the fellow. Christians must understand that we are the people sent to represnet Jesus Christ; we must be his true ambassadors on earth. Believers must not rejoice whenever a fellow backslide; we must avoid passing undue criticisms. Rather we should extend the arms of love that Christ requires.
