Faith is important to humans and God. It is the connecting rod between the two. A person without faith cannot relate to God, even if he attempted it, God would not respond. The scripture stated,
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible” (Hebrews 11:1-3).
Lesson:
Faith is the anchor of creation. God created all things through faith. The Creator had trust in himself by creating all things out of nothing. With word of command he created the earth, and everything in it. God said, “Let there be…” (Genesis 1). Whatever he said came into existence. Meanwhile, since God trusted himself, his creation must also trust him to live a properly functioned life. Creation must have faith in God that created it. Humanity must believe in the existence of God; they must trust his power, and they must profess their expectations in him – as though they will irrevocably manifest. A person who expects the manifestation of God’s supernatural power must believe that God can do all things, and the fellow must declare his/her committed faith in him.
Prayer:
Dear God, please help me to have faith in you; give me the strength to be able to declare my confidence in you over every area of my life. Let your Holy Spirit empower me to be able to declare bible promises and claim them into my life. Let my confessions be positive, and let me ever live a triumphant life on earth. Please let me reap fruits of faith, and let my testimony ever abide. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
