Isaac transferred his generational blessing to his son Jacob. He proclaimed the blessing received from his father Abraham to Jacob. Since God’s covenant of blessing is on the family, Jacob would be successful and prosper as his ancestors did. Isaac proclaimed blessing on Jacob and said, “May God Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may be an assembly of peoples; And give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and your descendants with you, that you may inherit the land in which you are a stranger, which God gave to Abraham” (Genesis 28:3-4).



God’s promises over his children will come to pass. None of his promises of blessing will fail, but they will all come into fulfillment as a psalmist stated, “For You have magnified Your word above all Your name” (Psalm 138:2).
