Storms, floods, and the drastic rise of temperature are blamed on global warming resulting from climate change. In addition to this, the world suffers from uncontrollable diseases, proving the humans have lost control of the planet earth.
Humans have since the dawn of industrial age explored the planet earth for natural resources such as minerals and oil for the sake of satisfying the appetite so-called “progress.”
The discoveries and developments derived from them have enhanced our lives in making our day-to-day experience more convenient (or rather pleasant in short terms). Meanwhile, the ground breakthroughs are not without some consequences. Earth explorations have left us with some deleterious long-term effects.
Man’s desires for sincere exploration for creativities are ethical, but sheer greed and the need to dominate competitors have spawned the wheel to an uncontrollable degree that shifted our dear planet out of balance.
Greenhouse emission and extreme heat generation from consistent temperature rise have set the globe on its path to impoverishment. Perhaps, the worse is yet to come!
Where has humanity failed its duties?
Humans didn’t just “lose it” in one day. Gradual unethical environmental practices have brought us here. Meanwhile, the situation was not like this before. The planet earth was not out of balance at the beginning. God, the Creator of the universe, didn’t handover a jungle planet as we have it today. God gave us a perfect creation, but humans mismanaged it.
In the beginning, God conceived a perfect creation; he designed it, and he created it and then handed it over to humans to oversee.
Man’s primary assignment was to care for the planet earth. Here is the history:
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:26-28).
Humanity has failed its duty assigned, which is – To take care of the planet earth.
Man (and woman) failed from the inception and continues on the same path. Adam and Eve (The first man and woman) lost focus and mismanaged the earth. Here is what was written about that:
“So the LORD God banished him (Adam and his wife) from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken” (Genesis 3:23).
There is no problem without a solution; God has provided a solution, but until it actualizes, nature will moan in pain (Romans 8:19-22).
Humanity is growing in an increasing “pain!”
Is Man Helping God To Destroy The Earth?
Whether religion plays to the consequences that our planet suffers or not, we can’t deny the events and happening that the Bible warned they would materialize to signify the end has come.
Bible’s Second Peter Chapter Three, Verses Three through Seven (2 Peter 3:7-10) hints that the end of the world will be by fiery destruction.
Man-caused temperature increases are already having a significant effect on the planet earth. Rising temperature is happening at
