August 4 – Wickedness Will Eventually Lead To Damnation

Bible assures Christians that they will soon escape the present world crises to be stationed in heaven to enjoy their everlasting benefits. The scripture assures believers,

“He (God) will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Everyone will sit under their own vine and under their own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the Lord Almighty has spoken” (Micah 4:3-4).

Lesson:

A Christian may undergo some challenges on earth, but they will not be permanent. Suffering will come to an end for people who have confessed Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Once believers get to heaven, we shall have perfect peace that has no traces of sorrow! God’s children will drink from a peaceful river that flows from the heart of God.

Christians must hold on to their confession of faith in Jesus Christ since the price to receive is great! We must remain consistent with God and endure our temporal afflictions since they will soon come to an end. The reward of our steadfastness will be great in heaven. God will wipe tears off our faces and bless us tremendously.

Prayer:

Dear God, I love you more than silver and gold. I love you more than my afflictions. My goal is to make heaven at the end of my earthly journey; therefore I pray that you give me the grace to remain steadfast with you. Help me to keep my testimony as a child of God. Do not let me compromise my stand and do not let me desist from serving you. Help me to faithfully serve you unto the end so that I can enter your rest to enjoy everlasting peace in heaven. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
