December 31 – Be Mindful Of Your Words

Bible is God’s approved guidebook that all Christians must study and follow. The scripture emphasized,

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness” (2 Timothy 2:15-16).

Lesson:
Christianity is a disciplined religion that requires anyone who practices it to do so with all seriousness. Anyone who claims to be a Christian must constantly read his/her bible; the fellow must pray and apply any lesson learned to his/her life. Also, it is important that a Christian has integrity in speech and indeed. No child of God should engage in cheap talks that promote the devil and his evil works. His/her words must be seasoned with grace to glorify God at all times. In addition, despite the mandate that Christians must share the gospel with other people, we must ensure that we do not entrap ourselves with a conversation that may lead to an irrelevant argument, promiscuity, and/or other ungodliness. Heaven will clap for any Christian who follows bible principles and maintain the integrity of the heart.

Prayer:

Dear God, please let me be a Christian who practices the bible to the letter. Let me be committed to studying your word, and let me apply your godly lessons into my life. Let my words and deeds be seasoned with grace to glorify your name. Lead and teach me to behave appropriately, so that I can become a beacon of praise to your holy name. Please let your Holy Spirit empower me to demonstrate true Christianity that will receive your divine endorsement in heaven! For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
