August 7 – No Segregation With God

Paul transformed from a church persecutor to a church preacher. God saved him while he was traveling to persecute Christians. Paul shared his experience,

“I persecuted this Way (Christianity) to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women, as also the high priest bears me witness, and all the council of the elders, from whom I also received letters to the brethren, and went to Damascus to bring in chains even those who were there to Jerusalem to be punished. “Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me. And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ So I answered, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting” (Acts 22:4-8).

Lesson:

God is ever interested to save any sinner from his sin. He wants a sinner to repent from his sin and accept the salvation offer of his Son Jesus Christ. The salvation of Jesus Christ is precious but free to everyone. Whoever declares comes to Jesus Christ will be saved from his filthiness no matter how terrible it appears. Jesus Christ will repair any damaged life and beautiful it to be suitable for God’s kingdom.

Anyone can come to Jesus Christ to receive his salvation. A person who practices a religion of any kind will be saved when he comes to Jesus Christ – whether he is a Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, traditionalist, or others.

All people must understand that there is no alternative means of obtaining an eternal life other than through confession of faith in Jesus Christ. Anyone who confesses Jesus Christ as Lord will be saved. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

Prayer:

Dear God, I understand that confession of faith in Jesus Christ is the only way of obtaining salvation. Whoever confesses Jesus Christ as Lord will be saved! Therefore, I make my declaration today that I believe in Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God. He died for my sins so that I can be saved. I confess him (Jesus Christ) as my personal Lord and Savior. I will serve him from today and throughout my life. Please give me the strength to serve you unto the end. For in the name of Jesus Christ I prayed! Amen.
